Do Actions Really Define The Person?
Do actions really define who you are? Can you always judge a book by its cover? Nobody is perfect. Everyone has done things they shouldn't have, made the wrong decision. Almost every teen has gone out and partied or lied to their parents about where they were going. Or maybe its just me, I don't know. I've done some things I shouldn't have, but does that make me a bad person? Does someone making the wrong decision, no matter how many times, give you the right to judge them? The answer is no. Everyone is different, and everyone enjoys different things and have there own style in one way or another. I'm not changing for anybody, no matter what people say I'll always be the same. I was born in Atlanta and even though living up here most of my life has made me used to how things are up here (snow, cold, 6 month winters, ect) I'm still a southern boy at heart. I hibernate all winter long, literally. There is no possible way you are getting me out on a snowmobile, four wheeler, or ice shack. I'm okay with people thinking that I'm a bitch, or dont have any fun in the winter. Because I am and I don't. The winter is the worst season ever. Its cold, dead, stupid, cold, and really cold. I don't know about you but having to sit in a cold jeep, revving your engine in the morning isn't exactly the best thing in the world.
Why five guys is the shit
Five guys is like a primum mcdonalds, for around ten bucks you can get a cheese burger with primum beef and all the toppings are free. There fries are all freshly cut in the back and you can taste the different from frozen fries. The Cajun spices are the best and they dump extra fries in the bag so you get more than you pay for. I get the same thing everytime I go, a bacon cheese dog with onions, jalapeƱos, and hot sauce with fries drenched in vinegar. Now just because everything is fresh doesn't mean it's all good for you. Whenever I finish my meal I can literally feel it clogging my arteries. Who cares about that though? All I care about is if it tastes good or not. Fast food is my one true love
Death By Keyboard
Blogging has made me realize that I do the same routine everyday. Wake up, Drone through the same set of classes, see the same people, come home and hibernate because winter sucks. I wish that things were like they were back in the old times. You went to school for the profession you wanted and trained hands on with the specific trade. We would start out learning to read and write, then we'd move on to focus on what we wanted to do. I feel like everyone would be more skilled in their jobs. I feel like the only reason that things aren't like this currently is that we need to "trap" some people into not succeeding throughout school because they are forced into classes that they aren't prepared for due to poor preparation. Thus making it so they fail in highschool leading to not being accepted into the proper colleges for their passion and forcing them into the lower class jobs. The insensitive way to look at this is someone has to work at the gas stations, fast food restaurants right? Someone has to sit in the cramped cubicals, hunched over a computer, sentenced to death by keyboard from the start. It seems as though some people are born, destined to fail at what they want to do, and beat into this mindset of failure and just give up on their dreams. Some people are trapped into debt, not by their own doing, and have their whole life practically taken from them by the government. I'm with clout on this one, there needs to be a revolution. Firstly, for change. And secondly because breaking things is fun.

Things The North Needs...
As a kid that's from the south, there's so much the north needs. For starters, we need a chic-fil-a. If you haven't eaten a chicken sandwich from chic-fil-a yet, you haven't actually eaten a real chicken sandwich. They also have the best waffle fries ever. Another thing we need is some actual sweet tea. I haven't been to a single restaurant and been able to say "I'll have a sweet tea" and not have them say "I can bring you unsweetened and some Splenda" It's not the same! McDonalds did a halfway decent job, but it still isn't like sweet tea in the south. Another restaurant chain that needs to move north would definitely have to be Smoothie King. The second you walk in the store you're pleasantly smacked in the face with the smell of strawberry smoothies, but they have every flavor you could possibly want, along with healthy choices and protein shakes. Another thing that needs to happen is we need to expand, I'm tired of all the woods and nature. I want to see some huge ass skyscrapers and subway stations and have a downtown that's more than 5 or 6 blocks. Face it, Maine is called Vacation land for a reason, they only good seasons are summer and fall. Winter temperatures drop lower than Alaska sometimes and it lasts way too long, and the spring is way too muddy (unless you like mudding then its great).

Smoothie King

These are like the Ronald Mc Donald of the south.

Buying at least ten gallons of this stuff on my next trip.

Tilting Turntables
So you already know that I dream about being a DJ. Don't get it confused with people like Skrillex. I want to be that dude in the club behind a set of turn-tables and those huge, rediculous looking head phones on playing and remixing songs. That takes a lot of time, money, and knowledge to do. You have to know you're way around the turn-table, practice remixing songs, make a playlist, then after all that find somewhere that wants to hire you. That's a lot of work to make a little bit of money, and you probably don't even get free drinks! There are DJ programs that you can download to a laptop, but most of them are over a hundred bucks, and who wants to waste that much money on something like that.
I recently found an app that lets you mix and mash up songs just by tilting you're smart phone. Its called Crossfader. It lets you play two songs at once, or fade in and out of the two. The only downside is you cant upload your own songs to remix, you have to use the ones provided. They have plenty of choices though like Lil Wayne, Biggie Smalls, Usher, Bassnecter, Daft Punk, and a lot more. You can also post your mash ups to there site right after you've created them and people can like and play them.
All in all this app makes it so everyone can be their own little DJ right from there phone, and if you're not into all that its still pretty fun to play with.
Here's my Crossfader page.
And you can download the app in the App Store, just search Crossfader.

Claps, Snares, Bass, and Blogs
Everyone has things they enjoy doing, mine mostly involve music. Everyone listens to some type of music for different reasons. The only thing better than listening to music, is making it. Which is one of the things I love doing most. I make rap beats and its taken me a year to figure it all out and I'm getting better with every beat I produce.
Over the past year I've produced a total of three beats and started two. I started out with my brother Dalton but branched off on my own. People listen to rap and think that its the easiest form of music out there, and also the most important. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to make a decent sounding track. You have to think about what snares, claps, hi-hats, and basses work best together. I don't expect to go big, but being a producer or DJ are definitely two of my biggest dreams.
All forms of music are an art. Even rap. Every rap song tells a story, whether its about the life they came from. Or how they started from nothing and made something of themselves. One of my biggest inspirations is this producer Yung Chop. He started out banging on tables and is now producing tracks and meeting big artists like Kanye West and Chief Keef. That's my dream, to just sit down and make music and be able to meet with big artists and make a bunch of money. The best job is doing something you love, and making music is something I love.
